HealthEast Foundation Festival of Trees - Great Party for a Great Cause

This past Saturday, November 21st, a few of us from StoneArch attended the HealthEast Foundation’s Festival of Trees in support of our client, HealthEast Care System. It was a wonderful opportunity to get gussied up and kick off the holiday season all while supporting a great cause.

We are grateful to our friends at HealthEast for extending the invitation that allowed Ellen Schuller, Director of Strategy, I and our two spouses to attend. The event held at St. Paul’s River Centre was a beautiful gala event resplendent in white twinkle lights and all the trimmings.

For 25 years benefactors and designers have collaborated to create whimsical wreaths and trees that are then sold at this event to raise money for the foundation’s cause of the year. Walking around the amazingly festooned trees was like being in a, sorry for the cliché, winter wonderland. Truly, I felt like a kid again, experiencing the awe and wonder these symbols inspire. There was also a silent auction featuring unique vacation trips (I’m still awaiting notification if my bid won the weekend at Arrowwood Resort – cross your fingers, I have two little boys and one on the way and a long MN winter ahead of me!), sports paraphernalia, and fine jewelry (Ellen is going to be stunning in her new pair of earrings).
