This is where you’ll hear about the up-to-the-moment happenings at StoneArch Creative.

Sometimes work can truly be a labor of love. And, as an ovarian cancer survivor, the opportunity to be associated with the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance is indeed just that. Two years ago StoneArch created a campaign called It’s Time To OvaryAct. The intent was to advance MOCA’s mission to educate women about the symptoms of ovarian cancer and raise general awareness of what is often called a silent disease. This year we were able to create and produce a video featuring medical researchers who receive MOCA funding for their crucial work and survivors who receive the essential support MOCA provides. The video’s premier was at MOCA’s annual gala. Several of us attended the event and witnessed more than a few tears as the video played on the big screen.
Call it luck or divine intervention, but I was one of the rare few diagnosed with Stage 1 Ovarian Cancer. That was ten years ago. And 10 years later, there is no definitive test for this cancer. There is no cure for this cancer. And, there is no reason for women to ignore its subtle and insidious symptoms.
