This is where you’ll hear about the up-to-the-moment happenings at StoneArch Creative.

I am a senior art director for StoneArch Creative. Senior in front of a title means having the experience and skills to immediately handle any project.
But “senior” takes on another meaning for me. I am also a card carrying member of AARP. (If you have to ask, trust me, you don’t qualify for membership). I play on a volleyball team called AARP Yours. And, I get hefty hotel discounts when I travel.
I was reared in the work of Herb Lubalin and his U&lc magazine. Typography never had it so good then or now. I still get excited about the fewest words and lines that tell the biggest story.
I like to think my baby boomer status gives the agency a built-in focus group for marketing hearing aids, implantable defibrillators, erectile dysfunction devices and more. My finger is on the pulse of my generation…if I can find it.
I had better get back to work. My Adobe Creative Suite 5 AND reliable sketch pad are calling my name. Youth springs eternal at this agency. And in me.

It is indeed an art to be spartan with words yet convey a richness of thought.

Hi Patrick, I have to honestly say that I haven’t used it yet – but the demos look amazing, and the reviews I’ve heard have all been good. I’m really looking forward to it!

Hi Chris,
I am curious to find out how that new Puppet Warp feature in Photoshop is working out for you.
Can you let me know if its a useful feature and worth purchasing CS5?
Thank you.
P. Bateman.

Chris, you may be AARP-eligible and able to get discounts as you travel, but you’ll always be a “kid” to me, and a valued member of AARP Yours!

Bravo! As an energetic baby boomer who works in the art world, I can identify with you, Chris. Thank you for sharing the perks of being born in the 50’s. I am sure that your “Senior” background adds a unique perspective to StoneArch Creative in more ways than one!
