Since launching codeReady.org more than 92,000 Minnesotans have visited the site and 12,500 Minnesotans have created a kit online.

Plan smart. Plan now.

The State of Minnesota wanted to motivate Minnesotans to be prepared for an emergency or a crisis, such as natural disasters, pandemic flu, chemical spills or intentional acts of destruction. But to do so would require a collaborative effort involving several state departments as well as local emergency managers and public health agencies all across the state.

All ready, codeReady

How do you get the attention of an audience as diverse as the one we were facing? You do it with a defining brand and a multi-tiered marketing strategy. The codeReady campaign needed to communicate the need, expand awareness, and most of all, educate. The campaign included a statewide mobile tour that brought the message to communities throughout Minnesota. Campaign materials were created to allow for co-branding by groups and agencies to increase the market reach.

Education with a flare

codeReady.org – developed, designed and produced by StoneArch Creative – became the interactive gateway to a comprehensive tool kit for creating an individual emergency plan and emergency supply kit. The site also provided links to web resources maintained by codeReady’s many partners.
