Social networking creates an opportunity for people with a prosthetic leg and its companion microprocessor knee to connect. This microsite is a great blend of product information, real-life experiences and a blog feature.
The drama of standing and walking again is highlighted in an easily navigated site that is home to a community of people who use the product or are interested in the product. We started with strategic analysis, developed site requirements, built a unique architecture, and had this one up within six weeks.
The social networking aspect of this site created immediate results. In its first two weeks, the site received 2,000 unique visits with an average of three and a half minutes spent on the site. And it all happened with very little advance promotion.
