Agency writing is about more than choosing the right words—it’s about listening to clients, knowing audiences, keeping up on digital trends, immersing yourself in strategy and bringing all of those elements together in just the right balance. We’re seeking a writer with a passion for making communication clear, interesting, inspirational and focused, by truly understanding the strategy behind the projects and the motivations of the audiences.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to pivot easily between different clients, writing styles and tones. A knack for taking dense, technical and/or scientific content and making it accessible and clear is essential. Experience writing in the advertising industry is preferred. If you are as comfortable writing for a website as you are writing a sell sheet, that makes you even more valuable. Any specialized background in SEO, writing for social or agency experience, is a definite plus. Five years of writing experience is necessary, along with a solid work ethic and a balanced ego.
